Why Must Microbubbles in Materials Be Eliminated?
Residual micro‑bubbles in ultra‑large‑batch high‑viscosity materials directly affect product yield and performance stability.
Battery IndustryBubbles in lithium‑ion battery cathode and anode slurries cause uneven coating areal density, impairing battery capacity consistency and cycle life. Bubbles in solid‑electrolyte slurries result in poor interfacial contact and reduced ion‑conducting efficiency. For mass‑production of 20L‑grade large‑batch slurries, uneven bubble distribution across bulk material triggers quality fluctuations among battery batches, placing high demands on degassing‑process consistency. | Energy IndustryBubbles in fuel‑cell catalyst‑layer slurries bring about uneven catalyst‑layer coating, lowering catalytic efficiency and battery power output. Bubbles in energy‑storage‑material slurries degrade electrode‑coating uniformity and reduce energy density as well as charge‑discharge stability. In mass production of energy materials, bubble issues directly affect product yield and production‑line efficiency. | Adhesive & Sealant IndustryBubbles inside industrial structural adhesives weaken bonding strength and undermine load‑bearing capacity and durability of structural components. Bubbles in sealants create discontinuous sealing surfaces and bring leakage risks. During 20L‑scale mass production of adhesives, high‑viscosity materials suffer difficult bubble removal. Batch‑to‑batch processing leads to discrepancies in viscosity and bubble content, hurting downstream‑product consistency. |
✨ Challenges of conventional degassing: Manual mixing is barely feasible for ultra‑large‑batch high‑viscosity materials. Conventional small‑capacity equipment requires multiple batch processing. High‑viscosity materials involve extremely time‑consuming material change‑over and cleaning, and batch‑to‑batch consistency is hard to guarantee. Static degassing delivers limited effect for high‑viscosity materials and takes substantial time. The 20L large‑volume vacuum mixer‑degasser applies ‑98 kPa negative vacuum pressure alongside planetary mixing. It processes 20L materials in a single run, minimizing batch‑splitting times and ensuring consistency for ultra‑large‑volume production.
Why choose MIX20L
Engineered for ultra‑large‑capacity heavy‑industrial‑grade vacuum degassing mass‑production scenarios
20L Ultra‑Large Dual‑StationStandard dual‑bucket loading of 20L per cycle. Heavy‑duty transmission handles ultra‑high‑viscosity materials, expandable up to 35L large‑volume capacity for round‑the‑clock continuous factory mass production. | Heavy‑Duty Transmission StructureReinforced frame and enhanced gear set deliver high torque at low rotating speed, restraining sedimentation of heavy powders and enabling long‑term uninterrupted stable operation. | Production‑Line‑Grade Intelligent ControlMulti‑level authority touch‑screen operation with multiple stored production recipes. MES system integration available, full‑process data logging and multi‑channel safety interlock protection. |
✨ When production requirements reach the 20L scale and high‑viscosity ultra‑large‑batch materials need to be processed, the MIX20L stands as the flagship option within the vacuum mixer‑degasser series for this capacity class.
Working Principle
Adopts synergistic process combining planetary revolution, vessel rotation and closed high‑vacuum environment.
Step 1: Centrifugal Force from Revolution The rotating revolution plate drives the container and materials to generate strong centrifugal force, triggering full convection of materials for macro mixing. Meanwhile, centrifugal force pushes low-density bubbles toward the rotation axis, gathering and releasing large bubbles. Step 2: Shear Force from Rotation The container rotates around its own axis to produce directional shear force, breaking up agglomerated particles for micro dispersion. High speed up to 3000rpm creates powerful shear for efficient full-volume mixing, thinning bubble membranes and accelerating bubble rupture. Step 3: Vacuum Negative Pressure Boosts Defoaming While revolution and rotation proceed, the vacuum system reduces chamber pressure to -98kPa. Under low pressure, pressure difference inside and outside bubbles expands nano-sized microbubbles and speeds up their floating and release. Vacuum defoaming compensates the limitation of centrifugal force on tiny bubbles, achieving full-range defoaming from large bubbles down to nanoscale bubbles. Revolution, rotation and vacuum work simultaneously. Materials complete the full process of "Mixing → Dispersion → Deep Defoaming" inside the sealed container. 3000rpm high speed combined with -98kPa vacuum balances mixing efficiency and defoaming depth. | ![]() |
